This means you can now create and manage notes across platforms! 🙌🏼 Synchronization between the operating systems is currently still in development. However, from my own experience, I would like to add that Goodnotes doesn't work as well for Android and Windows as it does when used with Apple devices—which is why we recommend apps like Penly!

Yes! Goodnotes 6 is now available for Windows and Android , so if you're not an Apple user, you can still try the app. 🤩 However, as mentioned above, there are some differences in usage between the operating systems, which is why we especially recommend Goodnotes for the iPad.

Yes, Goodnotes 6 has a free basic version that lets you create up to three notebooks. This version is completely free! 😍

If you want to use unlimited notebooks and premium features, you will need to upgrade to the full version.

Goodnotes 6 offers several pricing options:

• One-time purchase : €32.99 for a lifetime license (iOS/macOS only)

• Annual subscription for iOS : €9.99

• Annual subscription for Android & Windows : 7.69€

• Annual subscription for cross-platform use: 10.99€

Depending on the model, you'll have to pay for Goodnotes 6 either once or annually. The new subscription model allows you to always get the latest features. Alternatively, you can choose the one-time payment if you don't want a subscription.

How do I purchase Goodnotes 6 once?

If you do not want to sign up for a subscription model but would rather purchase Goodnotes once, this is only possible under the following conditions:

✅ You've already purchased Goodnotes 5: If you previously purchased Goodnotes 5 , Goodnotes 6 offers a lifetime license upgrade. This option will appear in the app when you download Goodnotes 6.

❌ Don't have Goodnotes 5? Then the only option is a subscription: If you 've never purchased Goodnotes 5 , you can currently only use Goodnotes 6 with a subscription. There's no option for new customers to make a one-time purchase.

No, Goodnotes 5 has been replaced by Goodnotes 6. If you already purchased Goodnotes 5, you can continue to use it, but new updates and features are only available for Goodnotes 6. 😅
